Full-time and Part-time Level I team members may purchase supplemental life insurance coverage for their spouse/domestic partner and/or eligible children. If you elect this coverage, you are automatically the beneficiary.

Dependent Spousal Life

The Dependent Spousal Life plan enables team members to purchase up to $100,000 in life insurance coverage on their spouse/domestic partner in increments of $5,000. Rates are based on the spouse/domestic partner’s age and the amount of coverage requested. The amount of requested coverage may not exceed fifty percent of the team member’s combined Basic Life and Supplemental Life insurance amounts. The spouse/domestic partner must complete and submit an Evidence of Insurability form for coverage exceeding $50,000 to the Corporate Benefits Department.

The payable Dependent Spousal Life Insurance benefit will be reduced upon the spouse/domestic partner attaining the following ages:

  • age 70, 35% of the original coverage amount

  • age 75, 55% of the original coverage amount

  • age 80, 70% of the original coverage amount

Dependent Children Life

The Dependent Children Life plan allows team members to purchase coverage on their eligible children of either $5,000 or $10,000. The monthly cost covers all eligible children from six months old up to age 26. From live birth to six months of age, dependent children are covered up to $1,000 each.

The cost of Dependent Spousal Life and Dependent Children Life is deducted post-tax.

If you are enrolled in this benefit, you may view your current coverage by accessing the MyONB portal. The portal may be accessed from the home page of the intranet or at myADP.com. Once you log onto the portal, select Benefits from along the top of the screen, then Health & Welfare. Select View Benefits on the Current Benefits card to to access your Benefits Summary.
